Sculpting Workshops and Classes
Individuals will receive one to one sculpting instruction using water-based clay only from Mr. Faraut, while still being encouraged to explore their own styles. Live models will be used during class. Previous students range from beginners to professional artists. The goal of both the portrait and figure seminars is to teach sculptors how to improve their techniques and speed. Finished pieces are not usually obtained though students are allowed to take projects that they have worked on during the class. All materials are provided for use during the seminar. Class hours are from 9-4 daily. Cost for the three-day sculpting seminars runs between $500-$550 depending on class location. Five-day classes are $875. A non-refundable deposit will be required for registration.
